Special Emphasis 2017

Special Emphasis 2017 runs June--July.  July 30 is State Missions Sunday and we invite you to participate in one of two ways:  1. Pray--please pray for each of your state missionaries and the ministry they serve. 2. Give--take a special  offering on this day (or any other of your choosing) to help fund God's work in Arkansas.  We chose not to limit God this year and did not set a specific goal for 2017.   We have posters and bulletin inserts available for you to download and make available to your church in our Info Center.

“All for one and one for all”

All for one and one for all

All the members of a group support each of the individual members, and the individual members pledge to support the group. Note: “All for one and one for all” is best known as the motto of the title characters in the book The Three Musketeers, by the nineteenth-century French author Alexandre Dumas.

This is where unity is necessary. The way in which we view our association will determine our involvement in its operation.  One of the keys to any likeminded group to succeed in leaving a larger footprint then any single one can make through finding a cause and joining together to accomplish or at least made a dent in it for the good of others as well as for the health of all involved.

While local, state, and foreign missions are not the only worthwhile endeavors to claim our attention and finical support it certainly belongs at the top of any list.  Through your support of church planting you have multiplied the effectiveness of your congregation’s efforts many times over.  It is hard to wrap our minds around the fact that God’s word is being shared and lives are being changed in places our local churches would never be able to reach individually.

Throughout the past 68 years the BMA of Arkansas has risen to the challenge to go and make disciples. We have a wonderful heritage.  Join us want you if you have not already by placing state missions in your budget and by receiving a special offering during June and July for our special emphasis, “All for one and one for all

Mustard Seed update March 2017

We are having around thirty  Youth from Park Place Baptist in Bryant coming to be with us on their first mission trip, March 17-19.    Bro Micah and Rachel Powell, youth leaders from Park Place, will be bringing them to learn and experience mission work first hand.  Our goal is to reach at least 300 homes.  They are going to hand out info on the mission as well as our Special Easter service.  Also, They are going to be in charge of our mission service on March 19th.

We are preparing flyers announcing our upcoming special Easter service.  We are having Ronnie and Mary Lou Warren   on Easter Sunday.  They will be presenting a Program of Worship and Praise. We will be celebrating the resurrection in a unique and exciting way.  I am emphasizing to our folks that Easter Sunday is one of the few times a lot of folks ever attend.  I told them they might as well choose us to worship with.

Missions on the Move

BMA AR Missions is moving forward on mission for God!

Annual session reports are encouraging to hear how God is working. Lives are being impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Your support is crucial in these endeavors: we need prayers and financial support. Need a project? We could use your physical support and it could be a life changing trip for your church. Contact the Missions office for ways to get involved.  Be sure to read about these reports in upcoming issues of the Baptist Trumpet.
